  • What extra self-care would you like to indulge in today? Add-on treatments can be paired with a FULL CUT or COLOR SERVICE. Please note that EXPRESS Cuts and MINI Twists do not include a shampoo and are not eligible for add-ons. Kindly keep in mind that the availability of add-ons may depend on our schedule.*

  • Permissions and Policies:

  • At Twist Salon we like to capture your experience here by taking pictures and videos. Do we have your permission to take and share your pictures with our community?*
  • Cancellations—If you need to cancel your appointment, we require 24-hour notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to do that will result in a 100% charge of services booked to the card on file. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, the appointment will be considered a no-show, and you will be charged a late cancellation fee equal to 100% of the scheduled service.

    Service Adjustments—We do not offer refunds, but we strive to ensure you are pleased with your service. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your service outcome, please let us know within one week. After that, it will be full price.

    Retail Returns- We accept returns or exchanges on slightly used products purchased at Twist within 30 days.

    Salon Etiquette—Please respect other guests' experiences by keeping your phone on silent while in the salon. Our salon has limited space, so please avoid bringing guests to your appointment. This includes friends, family, and pets.

    How to show up for your Twist Cut- For a successful appointment, please arrive with your hair 100% dry & in its natural texture. Second-day hair is best. No hats, clips, ponytails, braids, or buns. If your hair is stretched, we cannot see your curl pattern. Light products are great, but avoid any heavy oils or butters. Failure to follow these guidelines could incur additional costs and a much longer appointment time. If that is not possible in the schedule, we must cancel your service, resulting in our late cancellation fee.

    How to show up for a color service- Please arrive with detangled hair and no powder color or oil on your scalp or hair.

    Mattes and Tangles- Please let us know if you have been unable to detangle your hair alone in the last week. Please email the salon to see if we can add a detangling service. 

    Masks are no longer required. However, please let us know if you want your stylist to wear one. We are here to make you as comfortable as possible. 

    Photographs and Videos—We love taking pictures or videos of you after your visit. If it's okay with you, we would love to capture you looking and feeling fabulous after your appointment. *Please let us know if you do not want us to share on our platforms. 

    Parking- Free two-hour street parking is available in front of the salon on Encinal. Often, you will find plenty of parking in the residential area on Lafayette St. We do not have a public parking lot. However, if you need handicapped parking, it is in the back of the salon.
