Cancellations- In the event that you need to cancel your appointment, we require 24-hour notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to do that will result in a 100% charge of services booked to the card on file. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late the appointment will be concidered no-show, and you will be charged a late cancellation fee equal to 100% of the scheduled service.
Service Adjustments- We do not offer refunds, but we strive to ensure you are pleased with your service. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your service outcome, please let us know within 1 week. After that, it will be full price.
Retail Returns- We accept returns or exchanges on very slightly used products purchased at Twist within 30 days.
Salon Etiquette- We kindly ask that you are respectful of other guests' experiences by keeping your phone on silent while in the salon. Our salon has limited space, please avoid bring guests to your appointment. This includes friends, family, and pets.
How to show up for your Twist Cut- For a successful appointment, please arrive with your hair 100% dry & in its natural texture. Second-day hair is best. No hats, clips, ponytails, braids, or buns. If your hair is stretched we cannot see your curl pattern. Light products are great but avoid any heavy oils or butters. Failure to follow these guide line could result in additional cost and a much longer appointment time. If that is not possible in the schedule we will have to cancel your service resulting in our late cancellation fee.
How to show up for a color service- Please arrive with your hair detangled and no powder color or oil on your scalp or hair.
Mattes and Tangles- you will need to let us know if you have not been able to detangle your hair on your own in the last week. please email the salon to see if we have the time to add on a detangling service.
Masks- they are no longer required. However, If you would like your stylist to wear a mask please let us know. We are here to make you as comfortable as possible.
Photographs and Videos- We love to take a picture or video of you after your visit. If it's okay with you, we would love to catch you looking and feeling fabulous after your appointment. *If you do not want us to share on our platforms, please let us know.
Parking- Free two-hour street parking is available in front of the salon on Encinal. Often you will find plenty of parking in the residential area on Lafayette St. We do not have a public parking lot. However, if you need handicapped parking it is located in the back of the salon.
