• After-Hours Program Request Form 2022

    Overnight Adventures & Sunset Safaris put you in the middle of the Zoo after it has closed to the public. Take night hikes, participate in fun, educational activities, get behind-the-scenes sneak peeks, and meet some of our animal ambassadors up close and personal!

  • We are booking for September-mid-November at this time. 2023 Calendare will open in August.

    Information for Schools

    Are you a school with at least 50% of you students receiving free/reduced lunch? Are you from one of the below counties? You could get free programming! Check out our Living Classroom Education Access Fund (LCEAF). Applications for 2022-23 open in August 2022.

    LCEAF Eligible Counties

    • Ohio: Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Fayette, Green, Hamilton, Highland, Montgomery, Preble, Warren
    • Kentucky: Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Mason, Pendleton
    • Indiana: Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Switzerland

     

    The Booking Process

    1. Go over the program details  and find the program that best fits your group.
    2. Make your request through thisonline request form. Select up to 3 dates your group is available.
      • If one of your dates is available and you’re ready to book, we will book your program and send a confirmation/invoice.
      • If your dates are not available or you request more information, a member of the Education team will be in touch.
    3. Once your booking is confirmed, a 25% non-refundable deposit is due within two weeks. At this time, we’ll need your best, highest number of participants. You can go down in numbers after this time.
    4. Two weeks before your program date, your final numbers and balance are due.

  • After-Hours Program Information

    We offer two types of School & Group After-Hours Programs: Overnight Adventures and Sunset Safaris.

    Programs must be booked at least one calendar month in advance. Please note that not all preferred dates are always available. Flexibility is appreciated!

  • Additional Group Information

  • Please fill out the following information to the best of your ability. Approximating group size and needs is necessary for registration. A non-refundable deposit of 25% is due at the time of registration. Final numbers and program fees will be due 2 weeks prior to your program. 

    Note that our chaperone to student/child ratio is 1:7. These programs are designed for children 2nd grade and up. Participants must be at least 5 years old to attend.

    There is a minimum of 15 paying participants for the African Predator Prowl and Sleep with the Manatees programs. Twiga Tented Safari has a minimum of 1 tent (up to 10 people).
