University of Illinois Extension has two scholarships available for the upcoming 2025 Master Gardener Hybrid Training scheduled to start September 9, 2025. It will cover the $225 tuition fee and is funded by the Rock Island County Extension & 4-H Education Foundation.

Master Gardeners Interns are required to give 60 hours back to the community with in two years to become a certified Master Gardener. The Master Gardener program offers a variety of opportunities to give hours back to the community. Various activities are held day, evenings and weekend making it convenient even for working people. Are you able to commit to completing the 60 volunteer hours?
