Conditions
- Wolverton Co Inc. will endeavor to render prompt and efficient service hereunder, but it is expressly agreed that Wolverton Co Inc. shall in no event be liable for damage or loss caused by delay or any loss arising out for the performance of this agreement.
- Wolverton Co. Inc. reserves the right to reject any agreement if on inspection by serviceman, equipment is found in such condition that service is unsatisfactory to both parties.
- Wolverton Co. Inc. shall not be responsible for the failure of equipment due to manufacturer's system design or because of the failure of the equipment to maintain design conditions, or other defects of the equipment because of the method, design or conditions of its manufacture.
- Wolverton Co. Inc. shall not be liable or responsible for damage to the equipment by fire, water, acts of God, or other casualties.
- Wolverton Co. Inc. reserves the right to furnish or to discontinue this agreement at any time, without notice, until you have made your payments as set forth in this agreement. During the term of this agreement Wolverton Co. Inc. shall take all reasonable precautions to avoid injury to persons and damage to property.
- Any changed in equipment or operating environment must be sent in writing to Wolverton Co. Inc. within 30 days or those affected pieces of equipment will be removed from this agreement. After inspecting the new equipment and/or environment Wolverton Co. Inc. has the option to add the equipment changes to the contract or delete it.
Exclusions
Your Maintenance Agreement for the equipment does not include:
- Cabinets, and ductwork.
- Water supply and drain beyond the equipment proper.
- Electrical service beyond the equipment disconnect switch.
- Moving and relocating the equipment.
- Work made necessary by enforcement of government codes and building regulations, insurance requirements, or other work or repair required by third parties.
- Repairs to the equipment primarily caused by (a) deterioration of any of the equipment, including corrosion, rust or gradual corrosion, freezing, (b) misapplication abuse, unauthorized alternatives, (c) fire explosion, hail storms, floods, and acts of God or (d) other conditions beyond our control.
A standard size filter is defined by: 14x20x1, 14x25x1, 16x20x1, 16x25x1, 20x20x1, and 20x25x1. Any other sizes not listed are not considered a standard size. Filters that are not a standard size will be sold at maintenance contract rates (15% off).
Both Premium and Standard contracts are for residential homes only. Commercial contracts are available. Contract must be current to be eligible for discounts.
The following are additional exclusions for Premium Contracts only:
- Refrigerants that are included in the “1st lb of Freon is Free” Premium Contract Feature are: R-22 (while supplies last), and R-410a. At this time all other refrigerants are excluded. This can be subject to change.
- The “2 Years Parts and Labor warranty on repairs” Feature only applies to repairs done by Wolverton Air. If a repair is refunded or credited (in part or whole) for any reason the warranty does not apply. The repair must be made by a technician of Wolverton Air during the terms of the contract. Repairs that fall outside of the terms of the contract are excluded. To be eligible for the warranty the customer must agree to all of the needed repairs suggested by the technician at the time of service, if the customer disagrees with part or all of the repairs, as suggested, the warranty is not eligible.
- The “10% off of equipment pricing.” Feature is subject to change at any time without notice.
- If the contract will be transferred to a new owner: Wolverton Air must be given the full name of the new owner and the best contact information to get ahold of the new owner. If being transferred to a new address: New address must be within the service area of Wolverton Air. If the new home has more systems than the previous home Wolverton Air will service all of the units in the home for the remainder of current contract; all subsequent renewals and contracts will be adjusted to include the additional system(s).
Miscellaneous
- There are no other parties to this agreement.
- Rate is contingent upon property location verification.
- In the event the equipment is sold during the agreement period, the terms set forth in this plan are transferable to the new owner of the equipment if full payment has been made.
- If accepted by you, it is understood that this plan sets forth our entire agreement. We have made no oral representations to you concerning your plan for the equipment which is not set forth in this agreement.

- Check and clean condenser coil
- Change or clean air filters (1" common)
- Check electrical connections
- Check voltage and amperage on motors
- Check thermostats and calibration
- Check for correct air flow
- Check condenser temperature
- Check safety controls where applicable
- Check contactor assembly
- Check and adjust blower components
- Lubricate all moving parts
- Check Air temperature at evaporator
- Check refrigerant pressures
- Check condensate drain
Heating
- Check heat exchanger
- Clean burners
- Lubricate all moving parts
- Check pilot
- Check thermostat calibration
- Check heat anticipator
- Check fan control
- Check electrical connections
- Check combustion air
- Check safety controls
- Check elements
- Check pressure and air mixture
- Check draft or vent
- Check for correct air flow
- Check and adjust blower components
- Change or clean air filters (1" common)
