EU Aid Volunteers Supporting Gender Mainstreaming in Humanitarian Action

3 EU organisations , Action Aid Hellas, We World GVC (Italy) with Alianza (Spain) as the leader, will work together with 18 hosting organisations in 14 countries of Latin America, Africa, MENA countries, and Asia during 2 years in different activities, including:

The deployment of 56 EU volunteers to 18 hosting organisations in 14 countries of Latin America & Caribbean, Africa, Middle East and Asia
Additional capacity building will be provided by sending organisations, with the collaboration of external experts when necessary.
Apart from public events and continuous dissemination actions, of the volunteers will reinforce awareness-raising and visibility of EUAV and humanitarian action.
Additionally, several meetings and workshops to reinforce partnership building and coordination will be held.

Candidates must satisfy the requirements set out in Regulation (EU) No 375/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 3 April 2014 establishing the European Voluntary Humanitarian Aid Corps ("EU Aid Volunteers initiative"), which includes having a minimum age of 18 years old and being a citizen of EU or a third country national who is a long-term resident in an EU Member State.
