AGREEMENT, WAIVER AND RELEASE: I hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims for  damage for personal injury, illness, or property damage which I may have, or which may hereafter  accrue to me, as a result of my, or the identified competitor’s, participation in the Frozen Frenzy Competition & Parade. 

I assume all risks, known and unknown, foreseeable and unforeseeable, in any way connected with  my participation in the Frozen Frenzy Competition & Parade event. I accept personal responsibility for any liability,  injury, loss, or damage in any way connected with my participation. 

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the event venue, event staff, NBTA and directors, officers, employees, agents, and  volunteers, from all claims, and the cost of defending any Claim I might make, or that might be made  on my behalf, that is in any way connected with or arising out of my participation. 

Participation, and attendance, includes possible exposure to, and illness from, infectious diseases  including but not limited to influenza and COVID-19. While preventative measures and personal  discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness does exist. I acknowledge, voluntarily accept,  and assume all risks related to an injury or illness related to these or other infectious diseases as a  result of my participation. 

General Information:

Entry deadline January 5, 2022 or until competition fills. 

No late entries. No refunds, credits will be given for COVID-19 related cancellations. Any changes to an entry after the deadline will be charge a $10 administrative fee. Competition will be held regardless of weather. 

Virtual Competition

Competitors choosing the virtual competition should submit video recordings by February 1st at the link below:

Label videos, Competitor Name, Event (ie Novice Solo 13-15)

Competitors in the virtual competition will compete against only virtual competitors. Those competing live on Saturday, February 5th will compete against other in-person competitors.

Event postings for virtual competitors will be on February 4th and awards/scoresheets will be mailed on February 7th.

Competition & Performance Schedule: 

Morning: Teams, Freestyle, Show Twirls, Dance Solos, Duos and Trios

 

Afternoon: Modeling, March,  X-Strut, Solo, 2-Baton, 3-Baton

Rules:

NBTA rules and scoresheets will be followed. Age Divisions will be as follows: 0-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16+ (contest age as of 9/1/2021). You may access the NBTA rules and information at the line below:

Music 

Competitors in events that use individual music (dance solos, freestyle, show twirl, show twirl duet)  and teams should send their music to nicole.nelson@dance-twirlmn.com. 

 

 

Team Directors

Team Directors should contact Jacinda Miller at jacinda.miller@dance-twirlmn.com prior to completing team entry form. 

 

COVID 19 Protocols:

Covid19 protocols will be followed and adjustments will be updated as we get closer to competition to ensure that we  are following the most recent CDC recommendations.

Additional Fees

Spectator Wristband Fee of $8 for spectators ages 12+. Competitor and coaches do not need to pay for wristband.
