  • We appreciate your interest in our program! Please review our audition guidelines, then complete the following information. Once submitted, you will be redirected to a scheduling tool where you can book your audition time.


  • Remote Audition Submission

    If you cannot audition in person, please submit a link to a recorded audition. Ensure you set your video or audio file permissions so that anyone with the link can view it. Our music faculty will keep your audition media confidential while evaluating your scholarship application. Link to a Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, etc. video/audio file or submit a link to YouTube, Vimeo, Soundcloud, etc. There is no need to book an audition time. This completed form and links to your recordings are all we need from you to start the process.
  • The fine print:

    The music department expects recipients of full-tuition awards to:

    1. Major in music.
    2. Maintain full-time status (averaging 15 credits per semester).
    3. Maintain a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average in all academic classes and a 3.0 cumulative grade point average in music classes.
    4. Perform in one to two departmental ensembles as assigned by the faculty.
    5. Participate in music department events, auditions, outreach, and other assignments as determined by the faculty.

    The music department expects recipients of partial-tuition awards to:

    1. Maintain full-time status (12 hours or more)
    2. Maintain a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average in academic classes and a 3.0 cumulative grade point average in music ensembles and lessons.
    3. Enroll for lessons in the student's principal instrument.
    4. Perform in at least one departmental ensemble as assigned by the faculty (this last expectation is optional for students seeking only the Music Technology Certificate of Completion).
