  • Thank you for your interest in our program! Please review our audition guidelines, then complete the following information. Once submitted, you will be redirected to a scheduling tool where you can book your audition time.


  • Remote Audition Submission

    If you are unable to audition in person, please submit a link to a recorded audition. Make sure your video or audio file permissions are set appropriately for anyone with the link to view it. Your audition media will be viewed only by our music faculty in consideration of your scholarship application. Link to a Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, etc. video/audio file or submit a link to YouTube, Vimeo, Soundcloud, etc. Although you will not be visiting us in person, please schedule an audition time after you finish this form. The faculty will use that time to review your submission.
  • The fine print:

    Recipients of full-tuition awards are expected to 1) major in music, 2) maintain full-time status (averaging 15 credits per semester), 3) maintain a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average in all academic classes and a 3.0 cumulative grade point average in music classes, 4) perform in one to two departmental ensembles as assigned by the faculty, and 5) participate in music department events, auditions, outreach and other assignments as determined by the faculty.

    Recipients of partial-tuition awards are expected to 1) maintain full-time status (12 hours or more), 2) maintain a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average in academic classes and a 3.0 cumulative grade point average in music classes, 3) enroll for lessons on the student's major instrument, and 4) perform in at least one departmental ensemble as assigned by the faculty (for students seeking the Music Technology Certificate of Completion only, this last expectation is optional).
