- Submit completed "Application for the Importation of a Vehicle."
- Copy of a valid Belize Driver's License and Social Security or Passport.
- Certificate of Title or Customs Declaration - Duty on Importation paid.
- Documentary proof of ownership of land property.
- Permanent residence (Copy of Passport and QRP ID CARD or Residency)
- Proof of Availability of Property Parking (picture) and Picture of Vehicle being purchased.
- Provide a cover letter stating circumstances and details (reasoning for wanting vehicle in name).
- Landlord letter.
- Business Owner Application Only:
  - Copy of Registration of Business Name or
  - Copy of Corporation Documents (Memorandum and Articles of Association) and
  - Copy of Trade License Certificate
- Taxi Applications Only: Letter from Association or Federation if they are a member
- Application Fee is $50.00.
- Administration Fee is $50.00.
Note: Businesses: Must have a Zero balance on Trade License/ Liquor License

* Zero balance on property tax will be ask for before being issued the permit letter.

Approval is contigent on the viablity of off-street parking in the event of a change of address previous owner must provide a copy of permit for vehicle being sold attached to this application. Please Note: all vehicles imported on to Ambergris Caye must be registered an approved by the Ambergris Caye Traffic Control Committee.
