  • Aggressive or Dangerous Pets:

    Pet parents must inform Furry Friends Spa and Daycare if your pet(s) bite, has bitten, or is aggressive to people, other pets or specific grooming procedures. Muzzles may be used if necessary. Furry Friends Spa and Daycare reserves the right to refuse/stop services for such pet(s) at any time before or during the grooming process. If the pet should bite, the owner agrees to be responsible for any and all related medical bills, recovery costs, loss of income and equipment damage. Aggressive animals will be subject to a handling fee that will be added to the cost of grooming. This fee may change or vary depending on the situation, or behavior of the animal.
  • Health, Medical Problems & Senior Pets:

    Grooming procedures can sometimes be stressful, especially for a senior or ill pet or pet and can expose hidden medical problems or aggravate a current one during or after the groom. Because these pets have a greater chance of injury, these pets will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort. In the best interest of your pet this contract/agreement will give Furry Friends Spa and Daycare permission to obtain immediate veterinary treatment for your pet should it be deemed necessary. We will do our best to contact you first then take your pet to your authorized Veterinarian. It is agreed that all expenses for Veterinary care will be covered by the pet's owner upon signing this contract/agreement.
  • Mat Removal:

    Furry Friends Spa and Daycare will choose humanity over vanity at every opportunity. Many mats form close to the skin, pulling and irritating the skin, and may eventually tear open. Severe matting requires us to shave very close to the skin, thus Furry Friends Spa and Daycare holds the right to refuse any matted pet. When deemed necessary, removing a heavily matted coat or pelt includes risks of nicks, cuts or abrasions. Heavy matting can also trap moisture and urine near the pet's skin, leaving it unable to breathe and preventing proper temperature regulation. This can also allow mold, fungus or bacteria to grow, causing skin irritations that may only become visible after the grooming process. Dematting can result in, but is not limited to, itchiness, skin redness, self-inflicted irritations or abrasions and failure of the hair to re-grow. In some cases pets may also exhibit behavioral changes. Pets with matted coats will be subject to dematting fees.
  • Accidents:

    Accidents can happen when working on a living, breathing, moving pet. Grooming equipment is sharp, even though we use extreme caution, the risk of cuts, nicks, scratches and quicking of nails still exists. Please do not arrive early or before we call you to pick up your pet. This may excite the animal and make our job very dangerous. If you insist on showing up to check on your pet, talking to your pet or talking to the groomer, we reserve the right to end the grooming session, even if the groom is not completed. The full grooming price will be charged.
  • Parasites:

    We ask that animals entering our shop be free of any and all parasites, unless previously discussed and arranged. If fleas are found during the grooming process, your pet will receive a flea bath to kill the parasites and an extra charge will be applied.
  • Hold Harmless Agreement:

    By signing this contract you (or your Agent) agree to hold Furry Friends Spa and Daycare, it's owners, operators, employees, officers and directors harmless from any damage, loss, or claim arising from any condition of the undersigned pet, either known or unknown to Furry Friends Spa and Daycare. It is also further understood and agreed the terms of this agreement can change at any time, without notice, and will overwrite any and all prior signed contracts or releases.
  • No-shows & Cancellations:

    No shows, last minute cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) or continual re-scheduling are subject to a $25.00 fee per pet, which will be added to your next appointment. You may reserve another appointment by credit card or e-transfer with a pre-payment of the no-show fee.
