      1. Introduced new discount rates: -$20 PYC & Sublings; -$40 Military
      2. Major calculatred fields: Student Camp Selection which place hash marks between camp selections, e.g. Student #1 camps "///5//6" = camps 5 and 6
      3. Fees calculated based on PYC/Military selection to determine amount.
        Discounts could be combined resulting in a PYC Member receiving an additional Sibling discount. Example: PYC Member, 1st student = -20 + 2nd student -20 plus sibling discount -20 totally -$60.
      4. Utilized a work around "Approval" process by attaching to the URL sent to Patty to approve the registration this embedded code "?step=first", e.g. https://www.jotform.com/edit/5195606197342712576?step=first  See Conditions 20 - 25.
      5. Registration data is sent to a Google Sheet where it is utilized in developing weekly rosters, mailing lists, certificates and awards. Click here to view .

    Major revisions:

    1. Addition of "Form Tabs Widget" which place section/page tabs at top of each section/page. Recommended by Laurie Sarver
    2. Addition of Form Overview (this Paragraph field): used to document form development and suggestions for empelentation of the form.
    3. Adding hidden fields on page 1 which are used to hold Supply's & Registration Rates as variable values which in turn are use in calculated fields, e.g. field "Tuitions: at PYC Member Rate". In future years the varible fields can be updated and the new values will automaticely be used in the appropriate calcutions. See "Variable Fields:" below.
    4. Changing of Registration Rates to: Regular $295, PYC Member $270/ student, Military $245/ student, Sibling $270/ subsequent student.
      This resulted in creating 3 new fields Student #1 Camps, Student #2 Camps & Student #3 Camps.
  • Jr. Sailing 2022 Registration

    Registration Information:
    To register for one or more sail camps please complete the registration form below. Following registration we will review class availability. We will call you if any changes are necessary. After our review you will receive an email with payment information, and links to the required waiver and student agreements. Your registration will not be confirmed until your payment is processed, and all forms are signed and submitted.

    Relatives may register a child for camp, but only the legal guardian can sign the release forms. Please be sure to indicate contact information for the legal guardian if this case applies to you.

    Covid-19: We will continue to follow state Covid-19 guidelines in place at the time of our camp sessions. 

    Registration Rates:
    • Regular Rate: $295 per session
    • Discounts:
      PYC Members' Rate: $270 per camp
      Sibling Rate: $270 per additional child
      Military Rate: $245 per camp
    Our 2022 camp schedule * :
    • Camp 1 June 20 to June 24 Learn to sail
    • Camp 2 June 27 to July 1 Learn to sail
    • Camp 3 July 5 to July 9 Learn to sail (Tuesday - Saturday)
    • Camp 4 July 11 to July 15 Double-handed Sailing ^
    • Camp 5 July 18 to July 22 Adventure Sail ^

    Notes:
    * All sail camps are Monday through Friday, 9:45 am to 4:30 pm except to Camp 3 which will run Tuesday through Saturday, 9:45 am to 4:30 pm.
    Class sizes are Learn to Sail 12 students; Double Handed and Adventure Sailing 10 students.
    ^: Double Handed and Adventure Sailing students must be pre-qualified by our instructors. To register for our advanced camps (Double Handed and Adventure Sail) you must contact the registrar for the required code access. For the safety of our students we require confirmation of sailing capability before signing up for these camps. 

    Swimming Competency:
    As part of the registration process, every parent/guardian will be asked to affirm that their child has demonstrated the ability to swim:

    • swim freestyle for at least 50 feet without any flotation device or goggles
    • be fully submersed in water
    • tread water or float for at least 1 minute, keeping face out of water

    During the "Learn to Sail" course participants will be required to swim during the capsize drill, a short portion of which without a life jacket. The program will teach them to put their life jacket on while in the water. Please call the Registrar if you have questions regarding this requirement. Click here for a video of the capsize drill.

    Cancellation Policy:
    Cancellations 72 hours prior to the beginning of a class, a full refund will be issued. No refund will be provided if a student is dismissed from the program for violating our program rules, health and safety rules, or if a student elects not to continue with the program.

    Class cancellations: If the weekly course is cancelled or your child becomes ill (with a physician's acknowledgement), a prorated refund will be provided. 

    Inclement weather & other unforeseeable conditions: In the event inclement weather or other unforeseeable reasons it may become necessary to cancel classes. If this happens, we will contact you via email by 8 a.m. on the day of class (or sooner if we have more warning). Please keep us updated with your latest email address. Note: We do not provide compensation or replacement classes if class must be cancelled due to causes described above. As of now we have not had to cancel a class.

  • PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO CONDITIONS: I acknowledge that during the course of the Program that photographs or videos may be taken of my Child and other participants. The photographs and videos are the sole property of the PYC and may be used in promotional materials in the future without providing compensation or without seeking a specific release to use the photographs or videos.

    Purchase of a textbook, T-shirt and/or gaiter style mask is optional. We recommend at least one textbook per family. Students must wear either a gaiter style or regular mask during camp. You are welcome to purchase a neck gaiter from us our bring your own. Please indicate the quantities of each item below. Items purchased will be distributed on the first day of camp.
