A 2-Part Series
Hosted by GWIF
About Cara:
Cara attended a Pre-Veterinary Bachelor’s program with Vet School in mind, but after learning from her own health and her equine partner at the time, she decided a different approach was needed. After searching for a few years, she has found the bodywork modalities that work with the natural corrective systems. Cara is now studying Equine Osteopathy through the Vluggen Institute and continues to practice her bodywork modalities while also continuing her education through hands-on experience and the input from respected horse trainers, hoof trimming courses, and other body work classes.
Cara’s mission:
“To help every horse realize mobility and comfort in their body, every horseman learn observational and interactive techniques to help their horse, and improve communication between the pair in the process.”
Cara has the honor of being GWIF’s lead osteopath and she works closely with our Podiatrist, Sara Hathaway, and our local body worker, Ava Rosario, as well as our regular vet, Dr Christine Murray and our sports vet, Dr Jamie Carter. We are excited to have such a dedicated team and for Cara to share her knowledge with us in this 2-part Clinic Series!
