    This form is for members of the community to apply for a position as a Zone Umpire Developer with Hockey Victoria.
  • The role of the ZUD is to assist HV in the identification, development, and retention of umpires throughout Victoria.

  • In order to work with Hockey Victoria, all applicants over the age of 18 will be required to have a current Victorian Working with Children's Check (WWCC-E), the E stands for an Employee level check, please ensure you obtain this. Please upload both a front and back photo/scan of your WWCC or VIT card below.

    To apply for a WWCC please click here. Please note we will not accept V (Volunteer) level WWCC checks.

    In order to be a Zone Coach Developer, you must hold a WWCC-E or be willing to obtain one. You do not require one in order to complete your application

  • Umpire Coaching Experience

  • You do not need to be an accredited umpire coach in order to become a Zone Umpire Developer, however, you will be required to complete professional training through Hockey Australia's HockeyEd program as a part of the role.

    If you do possess a hockey umpire coach or umpire accreditation, it is beneficial.
