Summit Church Matching Scholarship
Purpose: The intent of this matching fund is to encourage the home churches of students to make their pre-existing scholarship funds go twice as far. Summit offers a limited number of matching scholarships annually.

Award Amount: Summit will match up to $1,000 per year ($500 per semester). Gifts must be from the church and not money directly funneled from family members. The Church Matching may be combined with other scholarships.

Award Criteria: Matching scholarship recipients must be in good academic standing and show proof of financial need. New and returning students are eligible. Church matching applications and checks must be received by August 1st to participate in the matching scholarship program for students enrolling in the fall semester.

We, the above named church, enter into an agreement with Summit International School of Ministry to provide for the student listed above a scholarship in the amount listed below in the "donation amount" for the semester checked below. We the church, have determined the scholarship amount (not the student or parent) and neither the student nor the parent have contributed to this amount as an attempt to have their tuition payment matched or to receive a tax-deductible gift for tuition dollars (see IRS Publication 526). We are submitting the Church Matching Scholarship Application with the church check.
