St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry Signup

Manning the SVdP New Brunswick Food Pantry on the First Saturday of the Month.

Mary, Mother of God Church mans the New Brunswick St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry on the 1st Saturday of the month.  The Food Pantry does close for certain holidays.  We arrive at the Food Pantry located at 29 Abeel St in New Brunswick between 9:30 and 9:45 in the morning. You may park in the parking garage, the Food Pantry parking lot, or the Catholic Charities lot across the street.  The Food Pantry closes at 1:00 PM.

The Food Pantry is rather small, so we only schedule 5-7 people each month.  We need at least 3 volunteers that have experience working at the Food Pantry, then up to 4 others.

It is required that an adult also volunteer at the Food Pantry along with any volunteer(s) under the age of 18.  The form for Confirmation Service hours can be found -> here

We recommend bringing something to drink, and perhaps a small snack.

For the dates below that you plan to volunteer on, enter the number of people who will be attending for each date, and remember that for any volunteer under the age of 18, it is required that an adult also volunteer at the Food Pantry with them.

 

ANYONE VOLUNTEERING, THAT IS OVER 18 YRS OF AGE, AND THAT HAS WORKED AT THE FOOD PANTY AT LEAST 3 TIMES MAY FILL IN THE "Lead" SLOT.  We need at least 1 person each weekend that can lead.  It is helpful to have 2 or more people signed up that have volunteered before.
