What Is It And What Do I Need To Prepare?
Fall Play: This is the mainstage production we will put on in the fall. This year we will be producing: John Lennon and Me ←—--- Read the script here
Synopsis: Hollywood-wannabe Star, the ultimate Beatles fan, has her path stymied by cystic fibrosis, an inherited disease that assures a young death. She spends most of her time in the hospital, where she confronts fate with imagination by surrounding herself with MTV-inspired bodyguard Flunkies and 'morphing' her dreaded therapy nurse into a pro-wrestler. Then, Star gets a new roommate, Courtney, who is Star's opposite—a pretty cheerleader and apparently not very sick. Neither girl knows much about the other's world, but eventually they come to understand each other, and ultimately, themselves.

Technical or Playwriting - Please bring a sample of your work for the event you would like to compete in and be prepared to answer questions about your work.
Coffee House: This is an event we put on 2 to 3 times a year. Once in the fall and once or twice in the spring. It is an open mic style performance outside (rip big oak tree). People typically sing pop songs or perform poems, etc. Whereas our other events are more theatre driven this is a chance to perform something different!
*If auditioning for Coffee House please prepare UP TO 1 minute of whatever it is you would like to perform. If you are unable to audition in person, record it and upload when you fill out the audition signup form. (I will hear the rest of your piece during the rehearsal day(s)). Please understand that I may disapprove of a piece. HOWEVER, if you earn a spot in Coffee House, it is YOUR spot and you may pick another piece to perform. Just because you are auditioning by yourself does not mean you can not use your spot in Coffee House to perform a duet or small group piece. Whatever you decide to perform after you earn your spot must be approved by Mr. Saienni. You may not perform in more than 2 pieces (subject to change if we need more performances).*
