French Immersion Student Bursary

Regina Catholic School Division
The Regina Catholic School Division is currently seeking interest from grade 12 French Immersion students who anticipate enrolling in the University of Regina Baccalauréat en éducation (BAC) program.

As a means of encouraging students to pursue a career in French education, the Regina Catholic School Division has established a French Immersion Teacher Bursary Program. This program is a return service; bursary during years one and two will be $1,000.00 per year and for years three and four the bursary will increase to $1,500.00 per year. In turn, this will require a two-year service commitment to the RCSD upon successful completion of the education degree.

Why I am pursuing a career in French Education?*

Bursary Conditions:

1. The Regina Catholic School Division reserves the right to cancel the bursary should the recipient not be meeting academic standards.

2. The Regina Catholic School Division will require an academic update at the conclusion of each academic term.

3. In collaboration with the University of Regina, pre-internship and internship placements will be with the Regina Catholic School Division.

4. Year 1 and 2 - $1,000.00 per year to be provided to the recipient upon the Regina Catholic School Division receiving the first term results.

5. Year 3 and 4 - $1,500.00 per year to be provided to the recipient upon the Regina Catholic School Division receiving the first term results.
