  • Your Skyrail Experience Details

    Skyrail 2.0 Upgrade Project 2026 - 2027 will begin in stages from July 2026 with some temporary closures and changes to the experience. If your intended travel date is between Wednesday August 19th and Sunday October 25th Skyrail will operate a loop experience between Kuranda Terminal and Barron Falls only.

  • Important Notes

    • Bus transfers are not available for familiarisations. 
    • You will need to make your own way to start your experience, and/or between experiences, and at the end of the day to return to your accommodation.
    • Bookings for Kuranda Scenic Railway or any other local attractions are to be made directly with the relevant company.
    • If you choose to add Kuranda Scenic Railway, the Kuranda Scenic Railway Freshwater Railway Station & Skyrail's Smithfield Terminal are located approximately 10 minutes drive apart. You will need to make your own arrangements between the two stations/terminals as required.
