Community Booking Form 2025 / 2026
West Beach SLSC is a not for profit organisation and we rely on volunteers to provide any community services and school education.

The recommended water safety requirements for aquatic activities have been prescribed by Surf Life Saving Australia. These are summarised as:

Junior Activities Ocean Based (8 - 13 yrs old)

1:5 (WSP ratio : participants)
1:10 (WSP: participants) Low-risk conditions, determined after a pre-activity risk assessment

Pool Activities

Where applicable, refer to local pool management requirements.

If no requirements 1:10 (WSP: participants) determined after a pre-activity risk assessment
Costs

Schools - Kindergartens / Primary / Secondary:
1. Lifesaver with First Aid Kit: $45 per hour
2. Lifesaver with Rescue Tube: $55 per hour minimum 2hrs, $25 per hour thereafter
3. Lifesaver with Rescue Board: $75 per hour minimum 2hrs, $45 per hour thereafter
4. IRB Driver/Crew: $315 per hour minimum 3hrs, $75 per hour thereafter
Not for Profit organisations:

We will continue to support by providing free water cover.
