Discrete Choice Experiments for measuring population preferences: methods and implications for health policy
  • The objective of this workshop is to expose researchers and Swiss-based policymakers to Discrete Choice Experiments (DCE), a preference measurement method, its applications in health and health care, and how it can be used to inform health policy. Additionally, this workshop aims at generating ideas for eliciting population preferences for new potential models of care in Switzerland. We hope to foster the first building blocks for cross-university collaborations in this area.

In the first half of the day you will be introduced to the DCE method, its latest advances and its applications in various countries. Then, you will be able to learn how the method has been applied in Switzerland for measuring population preferences, followed by an expert discussion on knowledge transfer from evidence to policy.
