It's very hard, especially if it's really personal.

I am always trying, though it can be hard if I feel attacked
I can, though I still get very agitated if I perceive unfair or manipulative behaviour.
I do regularly, it's really improving my relationships with those around me. Happy to share my experience.

If someone calmly asks for personal space, what do you do? Tick as many that apply;
Storm off angry, I thought we were friends and I really wanted to see them.
I enquire if they they are ok as I am worried about them, though leave them if they say they are fine.
Tell them I really need to talk to them and see if they change their mind.
If I don't need to be there, I'd just leave, it's fine.
If I need to be in the space I'd just go about my business without talking, looking to see if this is ok with them.
Discuss with them that I really need to use the space and feel slightly irritated that they are asking for space in a communal space.

I want to live with health conscious and balanced like-minded people.
I am very focused on my spiritual practice and I require a quiet environment.
I am fasting a lot/have a specific eating rhythm and would like to be social without food.
Being vegan I wish to share my need to protect animals with those I live with.
I am struggling with my health and need support sticking to a healthy diet.
Myself and my children have a specific diet and I need the community to be understanding, encouraging and uphold the values of this diet when we are social with together.
I really don't like being around any cooked food at all and I'm looking for a safe haven, away from all that is toxic and harmful to the body.
My emotions are easily triggered by violent speech and require a strong focus on calm peaceful discussions.
I love having physical connection with those I live with, hugs etc.
