BEFORE YOU BEGIN
The E.J Connellan Award is a funding initiative of the Connellan Airways Trust.
The aim of the E.J. Connellan Award is to give opportunity to people living in Outback Australia to undertake further studies or research of a kind not otherwise readily available to them. The Award will be made to an exceptional applicant based on merit.
WHO CAN APPLY (ELIGIBILITY):
- Awards are available to people who reside in rural, remote and outback Australia. Refer below to confirm eligibility by remoteness catergory.
- Australian Citizens and permanent residents of Australia.
- Benefit (through skills or services) to broader Outback Australia is highly regarded
- There are no further prerequisites for applicants. Merit is the primary criterion, based on either past or demonstrated ability for future achievement in any endeavour acceptable to the Connellan Airways Trust.
Please confirm your residential address fits the location criteria by referring to the Trust map of remoteness. Locations categorised as very remote or remote are eligible. Applicants from outer regional locations may be considered in some circumstances, relative to access of services.

Applications are open from 1 December, closing 31 January. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by the end of March.
