Edmonton CREW Membership Application Form

Full Member: means an individual with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a qualified field of commercial real estate, who is involved in a substantially full time position in one or more qualified fields of commercial real estate, and who demonstrates support of women in Commercial Real Estate.

Associate Member: means an individual who has less than (5) years’ experience in a qualified field of commercial real estate, who is currently involved in a substantially full-time position the primary responsibilities of which are in in one or more qualified fields of commercial real estate , and who demonstrates support of women in Commercial Real Estate.

Civic Member: means an individual who is currently involved in local or regional government, other public agencies, universities or other educational institutions or not-for-profit organizations, and who demonstrates support of women in Commercial Real Estate.

Affiliate Member: means an individual who does not qualify for Full Member status, but whose admission furthers the purpose of the CREW and benefits its members.  An Affiliate Member must have five (5) or more years of experience in a field related to Commercial Real Estate, be employed full time in a position, the primary professional responsibilities of which relate to, benefit or support Commercial Real Estate and supplies a service or physical product related to Commercial Real Estate, and must demonstrate support of women in Commercial Real Estate.

Affiliate Member applicants from companies that primarily contract as subcontractors for construction activities (i.e., mechanical, electrical, roofing), installation or maintenance will be considered Affiliates except when the applicant has a professional license.

Retired Member: means an individual who was previously a Member or who has previously worked at least five (5) years in a substantially full-time position in one or more qualified fields of commercial real estate, who demonstrates support of women in Commercial Real Estate, but is no longer working full time.

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements at the time of application, and throughout the individual’s membership. Membership may be revoked or not renewed if a member fails to meet the following eligibility requirements at any time.

1. The individual must meet all required criterial for their applicable Membership Type, as described above.

2. At least 2/3rds of your job responsibilities must relate to Commercial Real Estate.  

3. The individual must maintain the highest of professional and ethical standards, must comply with the CREW Network Code of Conduct, the Edmonton CREW Event Policy, and any other codes or policies implemented or amended by CREW Network or Edmonton CREW from time to time.Failure to strictly comply with any such codes or policies may result, without limitation, in removal from any events, restrictions on participation in any events, and/or revocation of membership, at the discretion of the Edmonton CREW Board.

4. Payment of all Membership Dues must be paid to Edmonton CREW Association on or before the deadline for payment as set forth in the invoice, being 30 days from the date of invoice. Payment will not be processed until you have been approved as a member. Failure pay any amounts owing when due may result, without limitation, in removal from any events, restrictions on participation in any events, and/or revocation of membership, at the discretion of the Edmonton CREW Board.

Membership Dues for 2025 are as follows:

• Full Member: $498.75 ($475 + 5% GST)
• Associate Member: $498.75 ($475 + 5% GST)
• Civic Member: $262.50 ($250.00 + 5% GST)
• Retired Member: $262.50 ($250.00 + 5% GST)
• Affiliate Member: $577.50 ($550 + 5% GST)

All applications must be complete and accompanied by a reference letter and your current up-to-date resume, CV or biography in order to be processed.

Please note that memberships are renewable as of January 1st each year.  Memberships and participation in activities are non-transferable and non-refundable.

By submitting this Application to CREW, you authorize CREW to use the information contained in this Application (“Information”) for CREW’s files, including use in the members’ database for the website, submission of the Information to CREW Network, posting in our social media channels, and to contact you regarding CREW related items including but not limited to: newsletter distribution, event invitations, call of board nominees and any other CREW business. You authorize CREW to post the Information on the CREW website. CREW will not sell or, other than as set out herein, release your Information to third parties.
