JCC Cares connects volunteers with opportunities to support our JCC community and make an impact across San Diego.     I certify that the information in the application are true and complete to the best of my knowledge and understand that if I am provided a volunteer role, falsified statements on this application shall be grounds for dismissal. 

    I authorize the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center to conduct a background check. All volunteers working with children, the elderly, and the developmentally disabled will be subject to a background investigation coordinated through our Human Resources department. Volunteers with a lapse in service of one year or more will be subject to a background investigation if the volunteer assignment involves working with children, the elderly, or the developmentally disabled. All background information received through this process remains confidential in accordance with applicable privavy laws. 

    I understand and agree that during the course of my volunteer status, I am free to leave the LFJCC at any time for any reason, and the LFJCC reserves a similar right. Thus, both the LFJCC and I will have the right to discontinue your volunteer status at any time, with or without advance notice, and with or without cause. This is called "volunteer status at-will." As part of my volunteer status at-will, the LFJCC expressly reserves its right to manage and control its business enterprise and to exercise its sole discretion to determine all issues pertaining to your volunteer assignment, including but not limited to, all matters concerning assigment and discipline.
