Balanced Paws is closed from Wednesday 25th December, reopening Thursday 2nd January 2025 @7:30am.

*Your dog must be desexed if over the age of 1 and comfortable in groups with other dogs.
Matting & Maintenance update

May 2024.
Due to an increase in matting of coats/maintenance not being done in between grooms, we no longer accept grooming for dogs who haven't been groomed within an 8 week period. Matting takes a substantially longer time to resolve and is not fair to the dog or the groomer.

What can you do?
- Ensure your dog is booked in regularly whether it's every 4, 6 or 8 weeks. (This will ensure your dog is always comfortable, grooming will be more affordable and you won't have to worry about fitting them into an appointment).
- At home- brush your dogs coat out with a fine tooth comb at least once a week- if you cannot get the comb comfortably through the coat it is time for a tidy up.
- Ask us to put your dog on a schedule. We can send you a message when your dog is due and you confirm an appointment. Whether it's just a bath and brush or a face and feet tidy up these can help maintain the coat in between your grooming visits
If your dog has matting but is within there 8 week appointment we reserve the right to charge additional for the time taken to remove the matting. Matting can be uncomfotable for the dog, and hard on the groomer and equiptment.

Our admin hours are 9am-4pm, Tuesday-Friday.

Any enquiries made outside of admin hours will not be seen until the following working day. Please understand when booking last minute we may not be able to accomodate your preferences, and reserve the right to deny your request.

Please do not show up earlier/later to your appointment, please be on time. An additional charge may take place for siginifigant matting or picking your dog up later then arranged.

We allow minimum 2 hours for clipping, this may take longer depending on quality of coat and dog's abilities.
