In 2022 Hockey Victoria will be offering Summer Competitions at varied venues during term 1. The competitions offered are as below.

- U10/U12 Half Field
MONDAY EVENINGS
- Open Men
- Open Women
- 45+ Men
- 35+ Women
- Mixed
- U12 Mixed
WEDNESDAY EVENINGS
- 35+ Women
- 50+ Men
- 60+ Men
- U14 Boys and Girls (Mixed for grades C and below)
- U16 Boys and Girls (Mixed for grades C and below)
- U18 Mixed
Hockey Victoria will regionalise each competition based on the teams involved in that competition. Teams may be placed in a competition not in their local area if there are no options for them closer to their area, within their requested grading.
Competition format
- All matches will be 2 x 25 min halves & 5-minute half time.
- Grades to be a maximum of 6 teams wherever possible.
Open Age Competition Gradings
- To assist clubs in deciding the most appropriate grade to enter your teams in, HV recommends using the following guidelines:
- Seniors:
- A Grade Open Age – Pennant A and above standard
- B Grade Open Age – Pennant B – D standard
- C Grade Open Age – Pennant D – G standard
- D Grade Open Age- Metro competitions standard
- Juniors:
- A grade - Shield
- B Grade - Pennant
- C Grade - District
