Student Award Application Form Logo
  • The CCMpower application portal is now open for the 2025-26 school year! Please reach out to Elaine M. Cox, Senior Director of Development, at elaine.cox@foundation.uc.edu if you have questions about your application.

NOTE: If you are applying for funds to support travel, please note that you can only receive travel support from ONE source (CCMpower, Dean’s Travel Fund, CCM Admissions Office, etc). Please contact Elaine Cox with additional questions regarding student travel opportunities. Additionally, per UC and federal guidelines, all student awards will be posted to your Catalyst account as a scholarship. If you have a negative student account balance, the award will be automatically applied to your balance first. The award could also impact need-based federal student financial aid. Please contact the Office of Student Financial Aid (scholarships@uc.edu)for questions about how an award could impact your aid.

  • The CCMpower Board of Trustees is a group of dedicated volunteers from our community - some are CCM alumni, some are former faculty – who through various initiatives support you, the college’s students and its faculty.

We understand that a career and life in the performing and media arts takes 24/7 dedication. We want to help you fulfill your mission to be an active citizen within the arts community and a driver of creativity and imagination.

We are able to provide funding up to $500 for creative projects and learning opportunities that are outside those provided by your CCM education and experiences. You can use these funds to cover costs such as attendance at extra-curricular or summer educational programs, support for collaborating artists, purchases of equipment and supplies, or for research. Note, however, that we do not cover travel expenses which come from the Admissions office.

In this application we will ask you to provide a description of your project and how much it will cost. We want to know how this experience will expand your educational and professional development.

We also want to learn what personal growth you anticipate as a result of this project.

  • Before you complete the online application form, you must to select a Project Sponsor. This is usually a member of the CCM faculty but it may also be a non-UC professional in your chosen field. Input from your sponsor is essential to a successful application. You should discuss your project with your sponsor before completing your application to ensure that he/she/they understands the scope and rationale of your proposal. Your Project Sponsor will provide our committee with a recommendation about you and your proposal. Though you may apply multiple times, you can receive only one award in a given academic year. Award recipients are required to submit a report about their project. We may invite some recipients to attend a CCMpower Board Meeting to share their success stories.
