To be considered for membership by the Board of Directors, applicants must be listed in their proper dues category. Annual dues are based on the company’s preceding year’s gross volume. VOLUME is determined by total sales of the applicant’s most recently completed fiscal year, which includes subcontracted work, material, and labor.
ASSOCIATE (Investment Category 1): Members provide service to the construction industry, but no material or labor. (i.e. architects, attorneys, insurance companies, banks, etc.)
SUPPLIER (Investment Category 2): Members supply material to contractors, shops, or job sites, but provide no on-site labor.
CONTRACTOR (Membership Categories 3-11): Firms active in the construction field; prime and subcontractors in all types of construction.
ABC dues are non-refundable and not deductible as a charitable contribution for Federal Income Tax purposes but may be partially deductible as a business expense. ABC estimates that for 2022, 14.15% of your dues are not deductible as they are related to lobbying activities on behalf of its members. Your annual investment includes both local and national dues unless otherwise noted.
Membership dues are on a calendar cycle. If joining mid-year, prorated amount will be credited on following renewal invoice. ABC dues are non-refundable.
