In 2022, Northwest Film Forum's Children's Film Festival Seattle is celebrating 17 years of international family film exhibition! This year, we're offering educators nine different short film programs to share with their students. Four empowering programs are suggested for particular age groups, three more are crafted especially for French and Spanish language students, and a further two are dedicated to environmental concerns and questions of identity.
Field trips must take place after February 1st, 2022. Screening times are available during weekdays, between 10:30am to 4:30pm.
NOTE: For on-site activities, NWFF requests that schools provide the details of COVID vaccination or negative test status for each student. (This can be provided within a spreadsheet rather than individual uploads for each student.) While in the space, we will request masking and social distancing, when possible.
2022 FIELD TRIPS
We hope to host you and your school for a field trip this year! Please specify your desired dates and programs via the form below. All programs are priced at $7 per student, with scholarship opportunities for youth that qualify for reduced and low-income lunch. Screenings come with coloring pages, and NWFF is happy to suggest prompts to encourage classroom discussion, by request.
Educators who select a virtual field trip will be provided a private film screening link to share with your students and/or use on your dates of your instruction!
Those who are interested in on-site field trips should provide date options. Screenings will be limited to 55 participants, in order to respect our 50% capacity limit.
