Secretary-General: Responsible for all of the Secretariat members, alongside all conference deadlines and logistics, ensuring every step taken is one step closer to the realization of the conference. The individual applying must be highly skilled in multiple fields, from leadership abilities, conflict resolution, multi-tasking and planning, to finances and overall MUN abilities.
Director-General: The second-in-command to the Secretary-General, able to assume any responsibilities that the Secretary-general places upon themselves during the planning and day of the conference.
Chief of Staff: Responsible for processing staff applications, hiring, and interviewing staff. Throughout the conference, the Chief of Staff will also be responsible for all actions taken by the staff. This position requires working very closely with the Secretary and Director-General as part of the upper secretariat team.
USG of Logistics & Outreach: Due to the transition towards an in-person conference this iteration, the USG of logistics will work closely with the rest of the Secretariat to plan out venue(s), and day-of-the-conference logistics. Additionally, they are responsible for external communication, such as establishing sponsorships and partnerships.
USG of Committees & Conference: Responsible for dealing with the various committees during the conference date, and to ensure that all conference logistics separate from the roles and duties of the USG of logisitics are met.
USG of Delegate Affairs: Responsible for communicating with delegates and advisors to answer questions and process registrations.
USG of Media and Marketing: Works with the Secretary-General to expand the profile of OakridgeMUN. Reaches out to schools, teachers, and potential delegates to diversify the delegate pool. Manages online presence and ensures that all those potentially interested as delegates, staff, chaperones, etc, are aware of deadlines/requirements. Previous skills and past works in media and marketing, pertaining to social media (eg. Canva and Photoshop).
USG of IT: Responsible for maintaining the OakridgeMUN website, setting up emails, responsible for technical issues that might arise before the conference and/or during the conference. Experience managing websites.
