BARN CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION
Thank you for your interest in adopting barn cats. Adopting a desexed colony cat to live in sheds/stables/barns helps to control rodent populations without poisons that harm wildlife, while giving street cats a second chance at life where they are no longer contributing to the overpopulation of cats in Australia. Barn cats will come desexed, chipped and vaccinated and we will send them with a crate to live in for the first two weeks while they become acquainted with “home”. You’ll need to offer them food and shelter, but they are very self sufficient by nature. Please note: These cats are frightened and un socialised. If you would like to adopt them with the intention to tame and befriend them instead of offering a barn home we can offer support to get you on the right track, please send us a message. How many barn cats would you like to adopt?
Are you prepared to provide food, water and shelter to your new barn cat?
They will need to spend the first fortnight contained in a dog crate while they become acquainted with their new home. We can lend a crate if you don’t have one, are you happy to care for the cat(s) crated so they can gain their bearings for two weeks?

We desex, microchip, vaccinate and parasite treat all cats before they’re adopted at a cost of $200 per cat. We don’t charge a set adoption fee for barn cats in an effort to place as many desperate cats in homes as we can, so if you’re able to make a tax deductible donation toward their vetwork please indicate what you can contribute below
