Purpose

The Kenosha Navy Club Ship 40 scholarship application is open to current SJCA freshman and sophomores who registered to attend SJCA for the 2026-27 school year.

Three scholarships will be awarded for a total of $1000

1st place: $500, 2nd place: $300, 3rd place: $200

Scholarship Requirements
- Be registered at SJCA as a 9th, 10th or 11th grader for the 26-27 school year.
- Essays should be typed, double spaced and no longer than 2 pages.
- Good grammar and correct spelling will be noted.
- Essays must address the specific topic below.

Why is it important to maintain a strong military?

All relevant documents must submitted together by March 15, 2026 with the scholarship application to be considered complete.

*Scholarships that are awarded may only be used towards billable tuition. Scholarships may not be used for fees or other charges which include but are not limited to hot lunch, athletics or clubs fees and books. Students who receive a scholarship and are later awarded a Wisconsin Parental Choice seat will forfeit their scholarship. Scholarships are prorated during the the duration of the school year.*

*All scholarship recipients are required to submit an impact statement that reflects on their experiences and the benefits of the scholarship. This statement must be submitted no later than May 1, 2026, as part of the scholarship agreement.*
