Purpose
The Rizzo/LoCicero Families Scholarship was established to recognize a student with strong academics and a commitment to community service. The Scholarship will award one $1,000 Scholarship for the 2026-27 school year to be applied toward the winner’s tuition.
Eligibility
- Have a minimum cumulative G.P.A. average of 3.0 (or B).
- Be an 8th grade student and registered to attend St. Joseph Catholic Academy as a Freshman in the fall.
- Be an active participant in community service.
- Candidates must not be related to owners or employees of Bristol Oaks.
- Student of Italian ethnicity (strongly considered)
Scholarship Requirements
- Be registered at SJCA High School for the 26-27 school year.
- Include an essay explaining "How You Have Experienced Personal Growth Outside of Your Academic or Athletic Endeavors in 2025” in 200 words or less.
- Include a copy of your first semester report card.
- Complete a SJCA Financial Aide form in a timely manner, as required by the Admissions Office. (Financial need will be taken into account by the scholarship committee.)
All relevant documents must submitted together by March 15, 2026 with the scholarship application to be considered complete.
*Scholarships that are awarded may only be used towards billable tuition. Scholarships may not be used for fees or other charges which include but are not limited to hot lunch, athletics or clubs fees and books. Students who receive a scholarship and are later awarded a Wisconsin Parental Choice seat will forfeit their scholarship. Scholarships are prorated during the the duration of the school year.*
*All scholarship recipients are required to submit an impact statement that reflects on their experiences and the benefits of the scholarship. This statement must be submitted no later than May 1, 2026, as part of the scholarship agreement.*
