各位護法信徒 吉祥：
農曆正月初九日，傳說是天公的誕辰，所以民間有拜天公的習俗，以表達其敬祖畏天的民族性。佛教東傳後，因應當地的習俗，並依據《金光明經》的「供佛齋天」儀式 ，讓信眾們藉著虔誠的心，除了禮拜供養佛、法、僧三寶外，也設齋宴請諸天，用以達到三寶加持、諸天賜福、消災庇護的目的。
佛光山達拉斯講堂、佛光山中美寺、佛光山香雲寺，將於新春期間，西曆2月8日至9 日，舉行「供佛齋天」法會，藉由虔誠如法的供養，祈求三寶加被、天人護佑，信徒闔家平安吉祥; 眾生災難消除，世界和平安康!
Offering to Buddhas and Celestial Guardians Dharma Service
According to ancient Chinese tradition, the ninth day of the new lunar year celebrated the birthday of the Heavenly King. When Buddhism first arrived in China, that date was combined with the teachings and rituals of the Golden Light Sutra. In order to seek protection and blessings from the Buddhas plus Celestial Guardians, the faithful practitioner sets out an earthly feast for all the divinities in heaven.
The International Buddhist Progress Society of Dallas, Chung Mei Temple and Xiang Yung Temple will hold the "Offering to Buddhas and Celestial Guardians Dharma Service" on Febery 8 and 9, 2025. This elaborate ceremony offers prayers to the Triple Gems and Heavenly Beings, in hope of ensuring a secure and peaceful coming year in the world. May All Beings Live Without Fear and Coexist in Peace!
