Purpose
The Darrell Viola Memorial Scholarship was created to honor St. Joseph High School 1968 alumnus Darrell Viola’s athletic legacy, huge heart and outstanding character. The $2,500 Darrell Viola Memorial Scholarship will be awarded annually to one deserving SJCA rising high school senior, junior or sophomore who exemplifies outstanding character and leadership.
Eligibility
- Be a current SJCA student entering his/her Senior, Junior or Sophomore year and registered to attend SJCA for the 24-25 school year
Scholarship Requirements
- Be registered at SJCA as a 10th, 11th, or 12th grade student for the 24-25 school year.
- Letter of recommendation from an SJCA faculty member or coach.
- Include a copy of your first semester 24-25 report card.
- Video of the student telling a joke.
- List of extracurricular activities.
All relevant documents must submitted together by March 16, 2025 with the scholarship application to be considered complete.
*Scholarships that are awarded may only be used towards billable tuition. Scholarships may not be used for fees or other charges which include but are not limited to hot lunch, athletics or clubs fees and books. Students that recieve a scholarship and are later awarded a Wisconsin Parental Choice seat will forfeit their scholarship.*
