Roders Memorial Scholarship

The Robert and Anne Roders Memorial Music and Science Scholarship
Purpose

The Robert and Anne Roders Memorial Scholarship recognizes a current SJCA high school student who has displayed outstanding talent in band, orchestra or musicianship and/or science. The amount of $1,000 will be given to two deserving students returning to St. Joseph Catholic Academy for his/her junior or senior year. If awarded to a juniors, it will be renewed for the students senior year. The money will be applied directly toward the recipient’s SJCA high school tuition.

Eligibility and Requirements
- Be a current SJCA student registered to attend St. Joseph Catholic Academy for his/her upcoming junior or senior year.
- Have a minimum cumulative unweighted G.P.A. of 3.0.
- Be involved in band, choir, theatre or musicianship at St. Joseph Catholic Academy and demonstrate leadership, commitment and dedication to your educational experience at SJCA.
  and/or
- Show outstanding performance and involvement in the science classes and opportunities at St. Joseph Catholic Academy.
All relevant documents must submitted together by March 16, 2025 with the scholarship application to be considered complete.

*Scholarships that are awarded may only be used towards billable tuition. Scholarships may not be used for fees or other charges which include but are not limited to hot lunch, athletics or clubs fees and books. Students that recieve a scholarship and are later awarded a Wisconsin Parental Choice seat will forfeit their scholarship.*

*All scholarship recipients are required to submit an impact statement that reflects on their experiences and the benefits of the scholarship. This statement must be submitted no later than May 1, 2025, as part of the scholarship agreement.*
