Evo3D Ltd “Modix Printer assembly terms and conditions”
This Limited Warranty applies to physical goods, and only for physical goods, purchased from Evo 3D (the "Physical Goods").
Modix assembly
The build cost is purely for assembly of the Modix Printer. The printer is assembled in our workshop (on site builds an option, fees apply) once your build is complete your printer will be delivered to site.
1. You will need to inspect your machine to ensure everything is still tight after the delivery process, will be guided by a team member via video call.
2. A online calibration session will be performed, completed with a test print.
3. Machine will be signed off as complete and working by the end user
4. Regular maintenance of the printer will need to be carried out as part of the Modix maintenance document.
After printer sign off any warranty claims will be subject to standard Modix warranty.
Modix Terms & Conditions
Support: Email support during office hours: Sunday to Thursday 09:00 to 18:00 GMT+3. We provide online Skype video support sessions during the assembly.
Limited Warranty: Modix provide a limited warranty of 12 months for malfunctioning printer parts. The remedy shall be repair or replacement of the non-conforming hardware part of the printer in a commercially reasonable time by Modix or its authorized representative. Replacement parts will either be new or refurbished and will be furnished on an exchange basis. If defective parts are not returned, Modix shall bill for the unreturned hardware. Consumables are not covered. The limited warranty shall be voided if alleged product failure was caused in whole or part by the end customer. This warranty does not apply to any defect or damage caused by inappropriate, incorrect, or improper use, installation, maintenance, operation and cleaning or normal wear and tear. For correct use, reference is made to the manual of the product; any other event, act, default, or omission outside Modix control, and/or failure of the product caused by an accident. In any event, Modix is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profit or revenue. Furthermore, Modix liability is limited to the purchase value of the Product.
WITHOUT LIMITATION OF THE FOREGOING, ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY EXCLUDED. MODIX MODULAR TECHNOLOGIES LTD. WAIVES ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, COLLATERAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF USE OR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, CONTRACTS, CUSTOMERS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, COST OF REPLACEMENT GOODS EVEN IF MODIX MODULAR TECHNOLOGIES HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH CLAIMS OR DAMAGES. During the Warranty Period, Evo 3D will supply, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship under normal use and maintenance.
What will we do to correct problems?
Evo 3D will guide you and supply you with new or refurbished replacement parts as per the Modix T&C’s. Guides will be provided to give instructions on how to install the forementioned parts.
To obtain warranty service, you must first contact us to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution for you.
If a site visit is required, this will be chargeable at £800 per day.
