    WILFORD BOWMEN MEMBERSHIP FORM

  • Person Details

  •  - -
  • Archery is a gender affected sport of a competitive nature where the physical strength, stamina or physique of average persons of one sex could put them at a disadvantage. As such, should you wish to take part in competitions (Club, County or National) there is a requirement for you to provide this information.

  • About your membership fee

  • Your membership fee is made up of the following components:

    1. Your fee for Wilford Bowmen (this enables us to pay for the general running of the club, for example, hiring the field, maintaining equipment, subsidising indoor shooting and insuring our kit). This cost is currently £67.00 per year for adult members, £31.00 for senior members and £13.00 for under 21 members. If you join later in the membership year this fee is reduced.
    2. Your fee for Archery GB (this is the governing body of our sport; membership is obligatory for our members and visiting archers in order to be covered by insurance. If you shoot elsewhere – for example at a competition – you will be required to demonstrate that you are a member of Archery GB. Our membership fees to Archery GB also enables the body to do things like investing in coaching and development, training elite archers and communicating with archers and others about our sport).
This cost is currently £65.00 per year for adult and senior members and £25.00 per year for under 21 members and anyone who has declared a disability or impairment. As with your Wilford fee, your Archery GB fee is reduced if you join later in the membership year
    3. Your fee for the County and Regional Archery Associations: Nottinghamshire Archery Society (NAS) and East Midlands Archery Society (EMAS) (this supports training of club coaches and the administration of the sport at a local level). This cost is currently £10.00 for adult and senior members and £5.00 for under 21 members and anyone who has declared disability or impairment.
This fee is the same no matter which point in the year you join the club.
