Band of Brothers Augusta, Inc. (B.O.B.) was founded in 2017 and hosted the inaugural JUNETEENTH AUGUSTA FESTIVAL, where we began to spread the message of self-knowledge, history, and love for one another. As a unique 501(c)3 non-profit, we promote and ensure economic growth, community outreach, and mentorship throughout the CSRA community and annually host the JUNETEENTH AUGUSTA WEEKEND celebration. The members of the B.O.B. are well-respected anchors within the community and through a collective effort, the B.O.B. aspires to make available and distribute resources within the CSRA to remove factors that limit opportunities and positive alternatives available to the community. By providing information, access, and actions that promote economic stability and mobility to underserved members of the CSRA, the B.O.B. strives to play a vital role in creating a healthier community.
The goal of Band of Brothers is to identify specific, unmet needs in our community and work with community organizations and leaders to fill them. We rely on volunteers, donors, and other partners to provide financial, time, skills, and resource-based support to help advance our cause. Investing in our organization fuels its growth, sustainability and gives power back to the community. Long-term support is crucial to deliver the systemic change needed to ensure a lasting impact in the Augusta community, which will amplify the community's resilience and strength while catalyzing growth and opportunity.
