Before you begin, ensure you have gathered all the necessary information and documents needed to complete this request:
For Every Request:
- Email Address: Obtain a regularly checked email address for the individual you intend to hire. The letter of offer will be sent to this email.
- Course Information: Collect the prefix, course number, section number, course title, and credit hours for each course the individual will teach. If the course is a pop-up, include the dates the course will run.
For New Hires:
- Resume: If the individual is not currently employed by UNL, you will need a copy of their resume. If you are unsure if they are a new hire, please contact Haley at haley@unl.edu.
For UNL Staff:
- Supervisor Approval: Obtain written approval from their current supervisor (email approval is acceptable).
- Work Plan: Provide a detailed work plan explaining how the individual will manage this role in addition to their regular duties.
