Completeing this application is the first step in potentially owning a puppy from Ravishing Cockers, but it does NOT guarantee a puppy from us or any litter we produce. We as the breeder reserve the right to refuse any placement at any time.
APPROVAL & DEPOSIT: Ravishing Cockers will review the application within 10hrs of receipt. Applications are processed in the order they are received. If I have any questions about the application, I will reach out and ask for clarification. In that time you have 10hrs to respond and place a $400 non refundable deposit. We plan breeding pairs at the beginning of each year which at that point we accept only 4-5 deposits per litter. X-rays will be done 55 days into the Pregnancy. Once the litter has arrived, we will notify the pre reserved families. Selections will take place within 48hrs of birth or right after tails and dew claws are docked. Any available pups will be advertised to the public at that time. If you make a deposit, you are committing to taking a puppy from the litter we agreed upon unless communicated and approved by the breeder to switch to another expected litter. Refunds are solely at the discretion of the breeder. We are NOT obligated to refund any amounts paid. Agreeing to this application is agreeing that any amounts paid towards the pup is subject to only be transferable to another litter. If we end up with a false pregnancy and/or have an unexpected occurrence that is at no fault of the breeders, All payments made will transfer to our next available litter. At no time will refunds be made for any payments unless it is breeder error or death of puppy. Transfers are only honored up to a year from the cancellation date.
YOUR PICK OF PUPPY: Puppies will be chosen in order of deposits received. We take into consideration any color preference you may have but we CANT guarantee it. If you have already placed your deposit and you elect that you do not want a puppy from the current litter agreed upon, we can move you to our next pairing IF a slot is available. It is possible you could lose your current pick slot and you will be offered what we have available based on availability. Example (You have 1st pick with one litter but move to another litter and we only have 3rd pick available). Gender is also something we can't control. If we do not have enough or any of one gender you are able to move to the next litter or IF available switch to the gender we have. You will lose your pick option and be placed behind the existing families. At no point will a refund be given.
TAKE HOME DAY: We schedule appointment times 2 weeks prior to the day of pick up with our familes to avoid a cluster of families here at once as well as to be able to provide 1:1 time with each family and answer any questions. Puppies are to be paid in full minimum 2 days prior to pick up. If pups are not paid minimum 2 days prior to pick up. The pup will be able to rehomed to someone else as well as any funds paid will be forefeited. If we are delivering your puppy via ground or flight typically we will make deliveries after pups being picked up have gone to their new homes. We cannot hold puppies for an extended time. Socialization and Training for a Cocker pup with his/her new family and new permanent surroudings is crucial to their temperaments. We charge a daily boarding fee of $25 for each additional day we have the pup after the take home day. If you have events or family plans, please be aware that puppies cannot be boarded until 4 months of age and have had all there immunizations completed first. We offer boarding for our extended Ravishing Cocker families for a fee. We do require an evaluation prior to the boarding reservation.
REHOMING: If you at any time in your pups life have to rehome your Ravishing Cocker pup, You are REQUIRED to let us know first to ensure we have first option of taking the pup back or to help find the pup a suitable home. At no point will there be a refund for the pup if you change your mind after taking the pup/dog home. If we sale for you there will be a fee determined at time of agreement to utilizing our services and resources. If we discover the pup has been sold without prior knowledge and approval by us the breeder we will seek legal action in the amount of the dog and any legal fees paid. If a new home has been found, The new owner MUST fill out this pup application as well. We strive to keep our pups out of shelters!
PAYMENT PLAN OPTION: If you opted for the payment plan option, All payments are due the 1st of the month. You are allowed up to 2 months with no payment before the pup application is VOIDED and your pick option is released and funds paid are forefeited. If while on the payment plan you choose to stop or back out of the payment plan at anytime all funds paid are only transferable. The Transfer option is only honored up to a year from the cancellation date.
CONTRACT: Filling out this pup application and agreeing to the information is serving as a written contract. Pups are required to see a licensed Vet within 72hrs of take home with documented proof in order for us to honor our 12 month health guarantee. Cherry eye and Gastrointestinal is not included in the health gurantee. Both issues are common in this breed and based off diet or unforeseen circumstances can't be proven to be the breeders fault as pups go home health checked and cleared by our Licensed Vet. We will require Vet documentation as well as a second opinion if something health related comes up to ensure no neglect or lack of proper care was found. This is also not at the expense of the breeder. It will be at the expense of the owner. All pups have docked tails and rear dew claws removed upon take home. Please keep in mind that Sire & Dam changes MAY occur unnexpectedly and the family can opt for a different pairing if they do not like the change but refunds and deposits are still at the descretion of the breeder. If you have any questions about any specific terms, you need to contact us PRIOR to placing your deposit. Once a deposit it placed, It is NON REFUNDABLE. At no point can you or any party associated with you can sue or serve Ravishing Cockers or the owners of Ravishing Cockers. All discussions will be done between Breeder and potential family ONLY.
REGISTRATION PAPERS: Our beautiful dogs are registered with American Kennel Club (AKC). All pups are sold as pet companion and must be spayed/neutered with vet documentation proof if only wanting a pet companion by 8 months of age. Full Registration (breeding/show rights) can be requested for an additional fee and to approved homes only.
