  • Locked out

    If you have invited KEYfriends then you can ask them to open the door for you. Check your "My Keys" section to invite KEYfriends.

    If you do not have your phone with you and you want to enter your room you can call the LOCK OUT service. 

     

  • Phone/battery is dead

    If your battery is dead you can use the charger in your building.

    Please check the Q&A page to find the charger in your building.

  • What kind of phone do you have?

    I have an iPhone

    I have an Android

  • Keyfob needs to be activated or does not work

    Click here for more information.

     

    The keyfob has to be charged every 3-5 months.

  • The Lieven de Key app is not working

    Please close down the app fully and restart the app. If this does not help then turn off your phone and turn it on and try again.

    If you have limited internet or are at the end of your data bundle the app will not launch. You can still open your door.

    Put your phone into FLIGHT MODUS. Start the App. Click the ACCESS button to open your door.

  • I am not able to open/turn the lock

    If the message in the app is: "Access Granted", you should be able to open the lock.

    Click here for tips.

  • Access Failed or Access Denied

     

    You must keep your phone very still against the lock. Otherwise you will not be able to open the door.

  • I am stuck in the registration process

     

    Notification: Contract number does not exist:

    Did you receive an email to invite you for KEYless registration?

    Yes: Fill out the form on this page.


    No: Wait until you receive this email if your arrival is more than 10 days from now. 


    Notification: Date of Birth is not correct:

    Fill out the form on this page. We will correct your data. 

     

    Below the bullet proof guideline for KEYless registration:


    1. Download the latest version of the Lieven De Key App. Note; select the correct Lieven app; Short Stay or Student. Delete the ILOQ App from your phone if you downloaded it.

    2. Start the registration in the Lieven de Key App from the start!

    3. At the end you will receive again a link in your e-mail; do not click on the link!

    Note: the URL should start with https://regmykey.com/.... 

    If this is not the case please start the registration from the start and use another e-mail client like g-mail; your virus scanner is probably corrupting the link.

    4. Select the URL you received in the e-mail and copy it.

    5. Open the Lieven de Key App and click on te SETTINGS button in the lower left corner.

    6. Go to the Activation Tab and paste the URL into the URL from SMS field.

    7. Click on SEND ACTIVATION.

    8. After 5-10 seconds you will see a Success popup.

    9. You will now receive a new e-mail with a 5 figure authentication code.

    10. Copy the code and go back to the De Key Shortstay app.

    11. Past the code into the form and click on DONE.

    12. After 5-10 seconds you will see a Success popup and the ACCESS button willl appear in the lower right corner.

    13. You are done :-) 

  • I don't have an access button

     

    NEW TENANT:

    If you are a new tenant and you do not see the access button on the bottom right (see picture below) then you cannot open your door.

    Click on "Register keys" on the front page in the app from your building. Go through the registration process until the end.

     

    EXISTING TENANT: 

    If you are an existing tenant and your access button suddenly disappeard, you can try to register like a new tenant. If that does not work click here and follow the described steps for access failed or access denied.
