Refund Policy
Before June 25
If you withdraw for any reason before June 25, we will refund your attendance fee, minus your application deposit. Deposits are only refundable if you are forced to cancel for reasons outside your control, like a medical issue or family emergency — drop us a note if you’re unsure.
If you paid by credit card, we will refund your credit card processing fee if we can process the refund within 60 days of your payment. Otherwise, we will send your refund by check minus the processing fee.
After June 25
We send billable attendance numbers to Pinewoods Camp on June 25. After that, we will only refund your attendance fee (minus your deposit) if we can fill your spot with someone from the waitlist. If we can’t admit a replacement from the waitlist or anywhere else, we cannot issue a refund after June 25. Please contact us if you’d like to know whether we have a waitlist.
Waitlisted applicants
If you are waitlisted and then not admitted from the waitlist, or if you withdraw from the waitlist before being admitted, your deposit will be refunded in full.
COVID exemptions for 2023
We will offer a full refund (including deposit) at any time before your arrival at camp if:
1) you exhibit COVID symptoms or a positive test within ten days before the start of your session or
2) if you learn your attendance might imperil someone in a high-risk category.
If sessions are canceled outright, all campers will receive a full refund. Anyone who must leave camp due to symptoms or a positive test will receive a prorated refund based on the days they were able to attend.
We will keep you posted about any changes to camp due to local COVID restrictions. If you decide any remaining restrictions are too onerous as of June 25, we will refund your payment (including deposit).
If you have last-minute concerns or anxiety about safety that prevent you from attending, let us know as soon as you can and we’ll consider an exemption to the standard refund policy.
