The Middle East will be defined by the following countries for the purpose of the award - GCC countries (to include Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates), Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Palestine Territories and Turkey
Central/South Asia and Levant will be defined by the following countries for the purpose of the award - Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan
North Africa will be defined by the following countries for the purpose of the award - Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Mauritania
About this category: The judges are looking for a start-up business (services launched in the past 24 months) that has disrupted the space through the implementation of new and innovative solutions, challenging the status quo and transforming the industry landscape.
The award will recognise the start-up that has demonstrated excellence in its industry sector – either through its innovative products or services, its evident business growth, its market competitiveness, or its industry and social impact
