  • VENDOR RULES & REGULATIONS

    • Junk Junktion Committee are looking for any and all types of food vendors. Ju st because you have been a vendor in the past does not mean you will be guaranteed a spot for this year's event.
    • All applications will be reviewed and screened upon submission. Any vendor or item NOT approved during the application process that appears in your booth at the event may be removed
    • All applications require 2-3 photographs of your food or a menu. Your application will NOT be reviewed if there are no photographs attached
    • If not accepted by the festival all fees will be retured via the mail
    • Duplication of menu items across all food vendors will be limited
    • Please allow 2-3 weeks to process your application. An email will be sent to you to notify you of your acceptance or dismissal
    • Any application after the August 27th at 5:00pm will be charged a $15 late fee if you are accepted
    • All retured checks will be charged $25
    • There are no refunds for vendor cancellations
    • Each vendor is responsible for collecting the State of Missouri Sales Tax and filling a report with the local Department of Revenue. Forms can be found online and you will be mailed copies by the Junk Junktion Committee. There is an additional 1% sales tax in the Depot District.
    • They are also responsible for maintain a license with the Randolph County Health Department. Those details can be found here.
    • Food vendor spaces are $300 for a full menu and $150 for snack items (ie just selling kettle corn would be considered a "snack item". You must be present for both day, this includes one festival t-shirt and overnight security.
    • One space is 20x10 feet
    • All items must NOT spill out beyond the designated booth space as mapped out on the ground
    • Vendors must supply their own equipment such as tables, chairs, props, backdrops, extension cords, etc
    • Public trashcans are not for Vendor use. VENDORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING UP AFTER THEMSELVES, BRINGING THEIR OWN TRASH CAN & PROPERLY DISPOSING OF ITEMS. If you need access to a dumpster we will direct you to its location. Failure to do this may disqualify you from future events. 
    • Electricity is NOT provided.  QUIET generators only are allowed. (Street musicians will be playing all day)
    • Vendors are responsible for their own setup, tear down and restocking of items as necessary
    • All vendor spaces are outside in the Moberly Depot District rain or shine. Please make plans to be in the "weather". Tents are recommended, but not required.
    • Space assignments are not guaranteed. We do our best to accommodate vendor requests, but it is sometimes not possible.
    • Booth setup times and space location will be given out 1-3 weeks before the event
    • Vendors arriving late will not be allowed to park their booth to unload. Due to traffic conjestion and safety hazards, this is strickly enforced. 
    • You may park one car, truck or trailer behind one booth space. For example a truck and trailer MAY NOT park behind one space. Vehicle & trailer may not exceed 12' space. If it is bigger additional spaces will need to be purchased.
    • Parking will only be in designated area's only. If you do not park in the designated spaces your vehicle may be subject to towing. Those designated spaces will be given to you when the layout is distributed.
    • How many people attended last year? Approximately 6,000 people

    You can either pay with a credit card via square, which we will send an invoice to you or you can mail a check to 211 W Reed Street Moberly, MO 65270.

    Please make checks payable to Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce and send them to 211 W Reed Street Moberly, Missouri 65270. Please note that you are NOT approved until payment has been received.

  • General Release

    The undersigned does hereby discharge, release and hold harmless, the Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce Junk Junktion Committee (city of Moberly, property owners and associations) and all co-sponsors from any and all manner of action, suits, damages or claims whatsoever arising from any loss of damages or claims, to the person or property of the undersigned while in possession or under the supervision of the sponsors during the Festival, and herby consets to enforcement of all rules of this event. There are no rain dates. There will be NO REFUNDS if the event is cancelled due to floods, hurricanes or any other force of nature. The Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce Junk Junktion Committee reserves the right to disqualify any vendor cause any problems to fellow vendors or committee members. Failure to comply with regulations and rules set on the application may result in explusion from any and all events. The Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce Junk Junktion Committee reserves the right to make final interpretation of all the rules. The undersigned understands that if this application is denied all fees will be returned by mail. If accepted, the Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce Junk Junktion Committee has my persmission to reproduce the submitted photographs for the purpose of marketing and advertising the Festival. The Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce Junk Junktion Committee has my permission to publish photographs or videos taken of me, my booth and product during the Festival for purposes related to the promotion of the Festival in the past, present or future.
