Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions constitute a binding agreement between you and Sally Orchard. By proceeding to pay a booking fee to Sally Orchard you accept that you are entering into a contract and you agree to be bound by these conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you should not book your bridal makeup.
BOOKING FEE & CONFIRMATION
A booking is only confirmed once a booking fee has been received. By paying the booking fee, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. The fee acts as a retainer, securing your date and time and meaning we turn away other potential bookings. You may secure your wedding date first and arrange your preview closer to the wedding, or vice versa.
IF YOU CANCEL YOUR BOOKING
If you cancel your booking for any reason, all payments made are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once a date has been reserved, we are unable to accept alternative bookings, and cancellations may result in loss of business.
IF WE ARE UNABLE TO DO YOUR WEDDING
In the unlikely event that your allocated artist is unable to attend your wedding due to illness or emergency, we will make every reasonable effort to provide a suitable replacement from our team. If a replacement cannot be secured, a full refund of all monies paid will be issued.
CHANGES TO BOOKING NUMBERS
If someone withdraws from your booking after confirmation, the total quoted price remains unchanged. You may replace them with another person, subject to time and availability. Additional people can only be added if agreed in advance. Unplanned additions on the wedding day cannot be guaranteed and may affect timing or quality.
CHANGE OF LOCATION
If your booking location changes, we reserve the right to assess whether services can still be provided at the new location. If we are unable to attend, the booking fee remains non-refundable.
RESCHEDULING YOUR WEDDING
A minimum of six months’ notice is required to reschedule your booking. If your new date is unavailable and sufficient notice has been given, all monies paid will be refunded minus the booking fee. Weddings moved to a new calendar year may be subject to a 5% price adjustment to reflect annual increases.
PREVIEWS (TRIALS)
Previews are not compulsory but are strongly recommended. Without a preview, we cannot accept responsibility for dissatisfaction due to style preference or expectation mismatch. Previews are held at our studio unless otherwise agreed. Remote consultations may be offered where appropriate. Off-site previews may incur additional charges. Preview appointments typically last 1.5–2 hours or more if booking the VIP package. Feedback is always welcomed so adjustments can be made.
TRAVEL, PARKING & ACCOMMODATION
Parking must be provided and paid for by the client. Due to the equipment carried, parking close to the venue is essential. Travel is charged at 80p per mile round trip, unless included in your package. Where overnight accommodation is required, this must be covered by the client.
ADDITIONAL ARTISTS
Additional artists may be provided where required for larger bridal parties or early start times. All artists are experienced professionals, and fees will be outlined in your quote.
DELAYS ON THE WEDDING DAY
IWe are not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control, including other suppliers, guests, or members of the bridal party. A minimum of 45 minutes per person is allocated, and an hour for a bride.. No refunds or compensation will be offered for services affected by delays beyond our control.
CLIENTS RESPONSIBILTIES
Please ensure all members of your booking are aware of timings and remain available when scheduled. Eating, mobile phone use, or leaving the chair during application may cause delays. A suitable working area with good natural light and a surface for products must be provided. Any allergies or sensitivities must be disclosed prior to application.
LIABILITY
All tools and products are sanitised between clients and professional-grade products are used. We cannot be held liable for allergic reactions where no prior sensitivities have been disclosed. By booking with us, you agree to release Orchard Bridal Artists and its team from liability relating to allergic reactions or misuse of products.
PHOTOGRAPHY & IMAGE USE
We may use photographs or footage of our work for portfolio, website, and social media purposes. Please notify us in writing if you do not wish for images to be used. Personal information is kept confidential and will never be shared with third parties.
PAYMENTS
Payment is accepted via BACS or by stripe.. Cheques are not accepted. Card payments may incur a processing fee. Final balances must be paid no later than 30 days before the wedding date. All payments will go to Sally Orchard, which after the wedding she will then pay the artist direct. By proceeding with your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
