Undivided in Christ is a racial reconciliation ministry unique to Beaver County. Since 2018 a diverse group of Christians encompassing many church traditions and multi-races has been building relationships and laying the groundwork for shared ministries. We are excited to announce that we will be placing paid cross-cultural interns throughout the county. If you are interested in your church partnering in this way, please complete this application and send it or address any questions to undivided.internship@gmail.com.
  • The Core Values & Commitments of the Internship:

    • I will undergo training for supervision, support and oversight
    • I understand that we will maintain a strong core belief in essentials of the faith, like those articulated in the Apostles’ Creed. I also understand that we will also both demonstrate flexibility on non-essentials, and expect the intern’s flexibility as well.
    • The intern will be given a team of people to serve alongside I, or another leader, will meet the intern on a weekly basis to learn and grow in this position
    • The intern is coming to our church for the experience of both a different church culture and a different ethic culture. We will go out of our way to be welcoming, sincere and respectful of the intern, and of our differences.
    • Understanding that we know our ministry context and people well, much of the position will be shaped by our church. At the same time, we will pause and ask, “do you have any ideas or input,” with open minds and hearts. This fulfills the desire beneath this internship, that the host church will experience new ideas and ways of thinking.
