You are also required to notify your loan servicer of any changes to your contact information after you leave school. You can use this form for that as well. You must complete all items except those marked as optional.

    Located in the Exit Counseling Guide for Direct Loan Borrowers, with the addendum, is an estimated repayment option chart indicating average anticipated monthly payments. Terms describing deferments, forbearance and loan consolidation are outlined. Review these terms & repayment options with your school official. If you have trouble with repayment in the future, call the Direct Loan Servicing Center at 1-800-848-0979.

You will find helpful guidelines on how to cerate a good credit history and how to improve your credit score.
