  • Business in Vancouver and the Chartered Professional Accountants of BC have once again partnered to recognize and celebrate the top CFOs in British Columbia. Our intention is to give worthy individuals the recognition they deserve as well as to use their example to inspire other companies and business leaders to achieve similar success.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    Honourees are chosen based on their performance relating to corporate growth through strategic decision making, as well as overall performance and execution, sound business principles and reporting.

    CFOs will be awarded in the following categories:

    • Large Public (Revenues more than $75m)
    • Small Public (Revenues less than $75m)
    • Large Private (Revenues more than $75m)
    • Small Private (Revenues less than $75m)
    • Publicly Accountable
    • Non-Profit
    • Transformation Agent ( Th ere can be more than one recipient for this category i.e. one for nonprofit, emerging leader, or a crown corporation)

     

    In addition a nominee:

    • Is a BC resident from an organization operating in BC
    • Has been CFO for at least 2 years
    • Must agree to have their name stand and be available for the awards event in  June 2022.

    Supporting Materials:

    Supporting materials are recommended and aid significantly in the judging process. Please include all supporting materials as attachments in the nomination form to follow.

    Please provide the following:

    • Two letters of support for this nomination.
    • A copy of the nominee's curriculum vitae. (Please include, in point form, key elements of a nominee’s career and education)
    • Brief summary of the company's history
    • Key milestones related to the CFO's successes

    • Confidentiality of all information is guaranteed. Judges and  Business in Vancouver representatives sign non-disclosure agreements.
    • Applications for elected officials will not be accepted.
    • Nomination forms must be submitted online. No paper or email copies will be accepted.

    • You will not be able to edit your submission once the nomination form is submitted.
    • Nominators may submit nominations for more than one individual. Self-nominations will also be accepted. Please do not submit multiple nominations for one individual.

    Nomination deadline:

    Completed nominations, including supporting materials must be received by Business in Vancouver no later than noon on April 29, 2022. No nominations will be accepted after this time.
