24-Hours Notice Required for all Cancellations to Avoid Charge

 

 

Why do we have this policy?...

This policy is important because, while a medical doctor may book more than one patient at a time, the appointment time put aside for you at Carolina Anxiety Care is your's alone.

When you make an appointment for treatment, your therapist reserves a full hour of time for your session. Should you need to cancel, providing 24-hour notice allows us to offer your appointment time to someone else who may be waiting to be seen.

What This Means for You?...

For therapy sessions, if you cancel an appointment with less than 24-hours' notice, or don’t show up, you will be charged your regular session fee.

Please, note that this policy applies to both in-person and virtual telehealth sessions.

**It is important to know that insurance will not pay for missed appointments, so you will be responsible for your session fee, not just a copay.
