Coaches Note: If you do not have a ladder at home or cones, you can also use 2 Litter bottles as cones, sticks, or any number of improvisions. It is more important to start SLOW and get the movement right at first. Start with walk throughs and repeat as your athlete becomes more firmilar with the drill and they can gradually increase speed. The speed this poster shows even in slow motion on this video takes years of development.

Additional Note: Several footwork drills and agility drills in general can cross over into other sports. If you find a video and the context of the video is specific towards football, soccer, etc. feel free to work with, or have your athlete use whatever it is that hits the ah-hah moment. The end goal is to develop the overall athleticism and the specific techniques be what is sport related.
